Open positions#

Important#

  • All positions / studentships are in theoretical and/or computational physics and/or chemistry, or mathematics. While we do collaborate a lot with experimental groups, we don’t do experiments ourselves.

How to apply?#

  • If you wish to apply for a funded studentship, there are a few things to know:

    1. You should contact me informally to check if there are openings.

    2. Formal application has to be done through the University and the respective department, in our case either Chemistry or Physics & Astronomy depending on your background. The departmental web pages (linked above) provide the list of formal admission requirements

  • Postdoc application.

    1. If a position has been advertised, just follow the instructions.

    2. If no position has been advertised: Please send a CV as a PDF file and provide a brief motivation by email.

Important

To repeat: For all positions, strong background in theoretical / physical / computational chemistry or physics, or mathematics is expected.
